Let's Go!

Well the past few days have been full of orientation! I always seem to have these moments when I commit to something and then when that comes up I decide I REALLY don't want to go. I sit and just battle back and forth with God on what to do, which is always hard but it's always worth it. Well back in april, I said that I wanted to go to orientation and i really was super excited about it. By the time orientation day got here, I was like ahh I don't want to go, i just want to start working at the church and planning all the events! Obviously I went. I kinda had no choice and of course God had something in store :)

Orientation has been so great. Not only have I met all the other summer missionaries that will be working at other churches around the island. It was just fun to see their hearts and get to know them the past couple days. But even more, God just really encouraged me even more for the summer. He encouraged me a lot about servant hood, being EXCITED to work with the kids, and being bold in my faith. I mean I was excited about all of this before but now its like a whole new level! God always has a way of showing us how His way is THE way. But that is just a bit of orientation for now :)

Tonight is the last day of orientation and tomorrow I move into my new host family home. I'm excited to see what is store there and as we begin working with Hawaii Kia!
